Club Shirts
New members are supplied with a new club shirt.
National and County Competitions
Durham County Bowling Federation, Bowls Durham and Bowls England National competitions will require competitors to wear regulation bowling shoes, club or white top and grey shorts or trousers. In team events all players should be wearing the same tops and the same coloured trousers/shorts.
League Games
There are four clubs in the Association who all have their own shirts and play in different and sometimes the same leagues. Members playing in team league games should all be wearing the same club tops and the same coloured shorts or trousers
Monday Evening League – White Jarrow Shirt
Tuesday Afternoon – Jarrow or Jarrow West End Shirt
Tuesday Evening – White Jarrow Shirt
Wednesday Evening – Jarrow Borough or Jarrow West End Shirt
Thursday Afternoon – Jarrow Shirt
Thursday Evening – White Jarrow/Jarrow Borough Shirt
Friday Evening – Dunston Social or Jarrow Shirt
Club Competitions
The Finals weekend of all club competitions is expected to be on 3rd and 4th of September and Club Shirts will be expected to be worn as well as black white or grey coloured shorts or trousers. Dress can be casual for all rounds prior to final.
Practice, jumbles and open competitions
Most open competitions locally require Club or white top, grey, white or black shorts, skirt, culottes or trousers. Some clubs outside Durham and Northumberland do not stipulate a dress code. It is best to check all details when entering any competition. Practice and jumbles is casual wear and flat shoes.
